Manner: By aerial bombardment; Sunk after 2 days of bombing.
Test results still disputed by the Navy.
Location: 35° 01' 10" N. Latitude 75° 30" W. Longitude.
 
Wreck Information
Depth: 380 feet to bottom.
Wreck Condition: Upside down; 327 feet to top of hull, Props removed, Some net, Long anchor chain out into sand.
Diving Conditions: Current moderate and variable, occasionally heavy; water temperature in low 40's; visibility 10 to 30 feet.
